Job description

Hourly wage:

  • _£13.55 per hour _
    PLUS_

Travel allowance:

  • 40p per mile _(From home to first call and onwards, then back home) _
    Plus_
    Holiday Pay

Clear and concise pay scales
With nothing hidden - We pay what we say.
For one hour of work - you will be paid our stated hourly rate for a Saturday of £11.55


Plus:

- all hours worked will accrue holiday time - which will then be available to use as paid holiday.

For every 8 hours of work, you do - you will accrue 1 hour of
holiday leave paid when you go on leave.


Location:

We provide care and support calls to clients in the Cheltenham area, that may include;
- _Cheltenham - (Bishops Cleeve, Winchcombe, Charlton Kings, Prestbury, Swindon Village, Wymans Brook, St Paul's, Leckhampton, Springbank, Pittville, Andoversford, Northleach, Compton Abdale)_


Hours available:

- **_Like everyone, our clients have a choice on when they wish to receive their care and support needs. So, we split our care shifts accordingly;
- _
Morning Visits: 07:00am - 11:00am_
- _
Lunchtime Visits: 11:00am - 14:00pm_
- _
Teatime Visits: 14:00pm - 18:00pm_
- _
Evening Visits: 18:00pm - 22:00pm_


We try to be as flexible as we can be toward our carers, we understand you have commitments in your lives.


What's actually involved as a home carer at Windrush Care?

  • Companionship visits
  • Assistance with personal care tasks
  • Supporting with medication and ensuring our clients are safe with their medication
  • Assisting with housework, preparing meals or even walking the dog
  • Helping with errands such as food shopping, posting letters or picking up prescriptions.
