About Us:

Make ethics the driving force behind our collections.

In Kensington and Chelsea, we put local people at the heart of decision-making, working in partnership with them to provide quality services that are responsive, effective and efficient.

As a Senior Accounts Officer, you'll work to collect and recover Council Tax debts that are vital to maintaining the standard of those services.

Equally, you'll bring an ethical approach that ensures those who can pay, do pay - and those who can't get the support they need.

The Role:

It's a fast-paced challenging role in a newly established and growing team, with aims to take on debt management for additional Council services in the future.

You'll see this as the perfect opportunity to grow your experience and skills.

About You:

A background in revenues, debt collection or a similar environment is essential, and you must have a basic knowledge of the national enforcement process.

But what will help you stand out is a proactive attitude, empathetic approach and innovative ideas, as we improve the service we provide to our residents.

You'll be a confident communicator, in person and on paper, used to direct customer contact.

Quick-thinking and influential, you'll also have proved you can accurately assess customers' situations and help them towards a positive resolution.
