Retail Supervisor

Location:

This role will be based in our Hexham and Ponteland shops, with the requirement to cover the other shops in the retail network as required (Prudhoe and Furniture) as well as the e-commerce operation.

Hours:
up to 37.5 hours per week to be worked over Monday to Sunday. Part time working and/or job share will be considered.

Tynedale Hospice at Home provide care when and where it counts throughout Tynedale and West Northumberland, whether that be nursing care in the home, hospital transport service or pre and post bereavement support to children, adults and families.

All of our care and support is delivered free of charge.

In order to support this, we have a growing and forward thinking retail department, currently with 3 traditional shops, 1 bookshop, 1 furniture shop and a growing online presence.

We have an ambitious growth strategy for the next 5 years, and our people will be at the heart of that journey.

We are looking for a highly motivated person to help supervise our Hexham and Ponteland based charity shops. The successful postholder will support a Shop Manager and team of volunteers to achieve sales targets.

You will be passionate about providing outstanding customer service and commercially astute to maximise sales opportunities to benefit the charity.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, enjoys working across multiple teams/sites and can engage effectively with a range of people.

Benefits:
£20,900 salary, contributory pension scheme, personal development budget, generous annual leave, Christmas closure period.
