Regulatory Communications Consultant (9 mth FTC)

The role of Regulatory Communications Consultant is within the Customer Experience and Journey Management team who are responsible for inspiring, organising and driving our business to deliver consistently great outcomes for our customers.

The Regulatory Communications Consultant will support the Content Production Manager to ensure delivery of communications projects that are all within the regulatory compliance framework and the businesses risk appetite.

Tasked with providing marketing supportand leading on regulatory project work.

This role is integral in helping us deliver change to our communications, across all distribution channels and to help deliver operational and process improvements.


Key responsibilities for this role:


  • Responsible for creating great customer communication outcomes by exploring what matters, tackling complexity and making things simple with in our established frameworks and procedures. Being able to your judgement and create solutions that make a positivedifference
  • To deliver regulatory driven change to communications, in line with defined project requirements. To take all reasonable steps to make sure the business area fulfils its internal and external regulatory, legal and industry obligations
  • Accountable for providing a quality service or product to customers and stakeholders, using skills and experience built through significant experience or training
  • Responsible for understanding our Code of Conduct and how it applies.

To comply with all relevant policies, for example:
mandatory training, delegated authority requirements and personal expenditure


Key knowledge, skills & experience:


  • Knowledge and experience of developing great customer communications that enhance customer comprehension and engagement
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry especially life and pension products, markets and competitors. And an understanding of how restrictions and guidelines are applied to communications through the regulatory and legislative framework
  • Experience in copy writing and delivering complex, diverse or ambiguous messages. Ability to identify and suggest improvements based on knowledge and experience
  • Experience of project management and pulling stakeholders together to achieve shared goals
  • Knowledge of marketing tools and techniques
  • Ability to think competitively and thrive on a challenge. Able to seize a good opportunity whether big or small to achieve the highest standards of outcome under all conditions
