Planner - Barrow-In-Furness, United Kingdom - NG Bailey Engineering Division
Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Planner to join our team in the North West working on a major project in Barrow in Furness.
This is a Planner role with ascpects of Project Management and Labour Management.This is a full time staff role with NG Bailey.
Responsibilities:
- Control the overall operational delivery of resource deployment to the Sellafield Projects.
- Support the planning for increasing levels of front line workers and assist with the coordination of their recruitment and mobilisation to site.
- Interface with labour management team on/ offsite.
- Support on boarding and retention of resources.
- Interface with supply chain and procurement to validate and support recruitment needs.
- Chair a weekly resource planning meeting and report to PD/ SD progress on recruitment and overall performance.
- Work with the site operations team to review progress and production outputs from the workforce.
- Monitor the balance squad skill mix versus efficiency. put in place contingency planning.
- Maintain the optimum workforce requirements to meet the demands of the Framework.
- Support the site labour management and IR team as required in providing leadership in all matters relating to employee and industrial relations.
- Plan for mobilisation/ demobilisation and support the Strategic Projects Director with the link into future projects.
- Experience using Primavera / Asta Powerproject in a Planning role
- Construction site experience
