Description

We're looking for a Head of Digital Creative to join our team in London as part of our Creative function.


Your Role:
You will work on creative projects from brief to delivery for all our products, awards and events.

You will drive high design standards and be a brand guardian for the globally known LIONS brand and our portfolio, which includes LIONS Membership, The Work, Advisory, Learning, Cannes Lions, Eurobest and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Graphic design, Concepting and Art Direction for a range of digital formats. Bringing a fresh eye and enthusiasm to each design project.
  • Providing new solutions and creative innovations across all digital executions in line with the brand's DNA.
  • Owning briefs from start to completion and leading a team to help you complete it. Designing and testing work to make sure each element is completed in full, on time, and in line with company/brand standards
  • Liaise and collaborate with relevant business partners to produce assets. Will followup with questions, updates, and edits as needed.
  • Ability to work independently to lead a creative project, while continually sharing progress with stakeholders on the Marketing team and across the business.
  • This role involves close collaboration with all current and future members of the LIONS Marketing team, including copywriters, designers, digital producers, other designers, as well as marketing managers and colleagues in other departments.
  • Ability to thrive in an exciting and busy environment, working for an iconic brand. Strong problemsolving skills and leadership qualities. Motivates and inspires the team around them.
  • You are an advocate and ally for diversity, equity and inclusion
Your Experience

  • Ability to create sophisticated and compelling designs that meet project requirements, brand guidelines and LIONS creative standards.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, XD etc.) as well as Canva and other tools. A specific skill or strength is beneficial (coding, illustration, photography, UX, video, animation, etc.). Understanding of typography, colour, print and digital production is essential.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and pride in the craft of graphic design. Stays up to date on upcoming trends and technologies in the design field and on social media platforms.
  • Excellent organisational skills required; must be able to handle multiple projects and produce a high volume of quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Selfmotivated and able to own creative projects, but still be a team player, comfortable with following directions and receiving feedback as required.
  • Experience as a Creative. Relevant experience working in a team based environment is ideal.
