The Role


Working within the Princess Team here at Carnival UK, the Sales & Operations Manager is in charge of creating and executing the Princess sales training strategy for our travel agent partners, ensuring that the education is relevant, on brand, and engaging.


  • Leading and motivating the Senior Executive, Sales Support & Sales Operations Executive
  • Leading and organising all trade events including fam trips and ship visits
  • Supporting the Sales Director and Sales Manager on key initiatives and partner support
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of the Princess travel agent strategy and online training programme, Princess Academy Online, delivering training content and benefits that are relevant and engaging for Travel Agent partners
  • Working in partnership with marketing and commercial teams to deliver training and collateral in line with company objectives
  • Accurate submission of monthly forecast and month end submissions from within the Sales Manager's budget for training initiatives
  • Ownership of the Sales and Operations budget, maximising ROI
  • Leading the Weekly Roundup meetings for the sales function


Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities.

This role is a CUK07 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis with at least two days based in our Southampton office.

  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Be a good collaborator with excellent organisation skills
  • Have a good understanding of the travel & cruise industries
  • Knowledge of creative design and production processes
  • Have a handson approach and see tasks through to conclusion in required timeframes
  • Experience in developing online learning & training programmes (preferred)
  • Generate new ideas and work as part of a team in developing these
