Jenson Fisher are delighted to be partnering with an excellent business based in Arbroath to recruit a Bookkeeper on a permanent, full time basis.

Reporting into the Owner of this successful company, the Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the financial records with precision and efficiency.

In addition, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health of our business by accurately recording and reconciling financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing regular financial information to the Managing Director.

On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using a bespoke, industry-specific finance package.
Record and reconcile financial transactions, including invoices, expenses, and bank statements.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and submit timely VAT returns.
Generate financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Collate time and attendance for payroll purposes.
Perform general administrative tasks as required.

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have previous experience working as a Bookkeeper of in a similar role.

You will consider yourself strong using systems and consider your communication and organisational skills amongst your key strengths.
