Essential Requirements Degree level qualification in sports, a teaching qualification and minimum 2 years teaching experience, delivering classroom learning and an understanding of Ofsted expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a high quality learning experience for all students and work proactively to improve teaching and learning across your curriculum area, and consistently promote and achieve excellent in classroom practice.
- Play a key role in the quality assurance processes and the monitoring of curriculum and KPIs, as required by the Head of Education and Quality and Curriculum Manager.
- Teach an appropriate range of student groups ensuring high quality classroom practice in personal teaching time.
- Effectively manage the performance of centre and direct reports and formal meetings, as required by the Head of Education and Quality and Curriculum Manager.
- To promote the highest possible standards in customer care, equal opportunities and health and safety practices for the benefit of learners and the wider community served by the College.
- To safeguard and promote the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults served by the College.
- To lead in the learner recruitment for your centre during enrolment process in support with the Curriculum Manager.
- To identify and assess learners' needs throughout their programme of study.
- To plan, design and deliver learning programmes/sessions and facilitate learning in line with course aims, objectives, mode of assessment, accreditation and deadline dates.
- To monitor, evaluate and improve the quality and effectiveness of learning programmes, sessions and own practice.
- To undertake specific module leadership regarding the implementation of planning module through SOW, lesson plans, assessments standardisation.
- To meet deadlines set regarding planning, assessing, reviewing and tracking.
- To deliver minimum of 21 hours each week education over 36 weeks.
