We are currently partnering with a global manufacturing organisation in Leeds who are looking for a HR Advisor to join their HR team.

This is a full time permanent position offering a salary of up to £39,000. This will depend on experience, for example strong manufacturing experience.

You will be working from the manufacturing site in Leeds, which has circa 450 employees blue and white collar.

You will report directly into the HR Manager and support the HR Administrator's development.

There is some flexibility for home-working/flexitime, however our client is looking for someone who wants to be on site and have a presence


The Role:


  • Supporting managers with ER queries and providing sound HR advice throughout informal and formal processes
  • Support the HR Manager in the delivery of employee engagement initiatives
  • Lead on recruitment processes, including placement of agency staff
  • Management of absence cases and providing reports on site absence levels
  • Onboarding of new starters, including issuing of new starter paperwork
  • Liaising with the Payroll Team to ensure all information is processed accurately
  • Identifying training opportunities for employees and supporting the delivery where required


  • HR paperwork

  • CoE, change to terms, leavers and all other ad hoc admin tasks
  • Reporting on HR metrics as and when required
  • Build strong, professional and trusted relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements:


  • Strong HR knowledge
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Can work well under pressure and be very resilient
  • A 'cando' attitude and hands on approach
  • Supportive with the ability to coach and guide managers effectively
  • Have experience of working in a fastmoving environment
  • Personable and friendly approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or relevant experience
