Role Overview:

The Infrastructure Intermediate Technology Analyst is a L3 / SRE level role responsible for OpenShift infra support.

The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve issues and execute administrativetasks.

Detailed Technical requirements explained below.

OpenShift L3 / SRE Job Description:
Able to manage and guide L2 OPS (24*7) support team for all BAU issues
Ability to handle emergency at any point of time
Ability to handle multiple projects in case of any emergency needs
Ability to work & support 24*7 support team
Knowledge / experience working with various support team and manage the conflicts
Able to support weekend as part of BAU Rota
Knowledge on Problem, Incident and Change management process
Knowledge on Development, UAT and Production environments
Able to mentor and train L2 OPS new members and normalize BAU
Overall experience on ECS / Cloud Ops support.
PaaS Solution based on Cloud Foundry (PCF), Kubernetes (OpenShift 3.11 & 4.3), ELK
Overall / End to end experience on Cloud (PaaS) Operation environment
Working experience on Large/Super cluster
Working experience on Mission Critical Project / DC support knowledge
Knowledge on Ansible / Python / Chef / Terraform / Appd-Splunk deployment
Knowledge on Turbonomics tools
Knowledge on AWS compute, EKS, Networking, Elastic Search, IAM etc...
Knowledge on VMware IaaS Compute (vSphere) and Networking (NSX)
Architecture reviews & transition into container/ Cloud environment based on solution.
Experience in Git, Bitbucket and Software Release management.
Hands on with OS & Cluster level Vulnerable review and vendor fixes
Hands on DC migrations projects and End to End knowledge.
Knowledge on Redhat Linux 5 / 6 / 7
Knowledge on Linux with KDC LDAP and Windows AD integration
Hands on knowledge on Linux quarterly Base Configuration review
Knowledge on NetBackup tools knowledge
Cloud cluster hands on with ScaleIO, NAS and SAN and product knowledge
Hands on with security vulnerable review and vendor fix
Knowledge on x86 Physical / Virtual servers support hands on
Knowledge on Auto / Manual patch process
Knowledge on Vendor management during BAU & Projects issues
Knowledge and hands on bare metal hardware (x8

HP / DELL / IBM) support

Knowledge and hands on various RAID level configuration

Qualifications:
Significant experience in a Technology Infrastructure role (education/professional) with demonstrated knowledge of operational process change and improvement
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline

Function as an SRE to enhance platform stability and perform proactive fixes and documenting root cause analysis and emergency response.

Education:

Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
