An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a PALS/Complaints Officer to assist a reputable public sector organisation in based in Birmingham.

This role is to facilitate the processing of complaints received.

  • Coordinating complaints investigations and responses in line with the Patient Relations Policy and Procedures, underpinned by national legislation
  • Interrogating systems and records as required to support investigations
  • Maintaining accurate and uptodate complaints information on the complaints database (Datix Web)
  • Organising and attending complaints local resolution meetings as required
  • Providing information including reports on complaints where required
  • Generating agenda complaints to help prevent reoccurrence
  • Managing workload to meet key performance indicators
  • Guide complainants and supporting them through the process
