Role:
Teaching Assistant (intervention sessions)


Pay:
£350 - £375 weekly


Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Location:
Washington (NE37)


Teaching Personnel are working with a Primary School in Washington who are looking to place an exceptionally driven Teaching Assistant who can work across Key Stages to deliver intervention sessions.

Ideally, you will have recent experience working withlower ability pupils and can confidently lead interventions in both Maths and English.

This role is due to start from January and will be an ongoing role.


You will be working towards raising attainment through intervention sessions, if you have a strong record of raising attainment, it would be encouraging to apply.

  • Majority of pupils are making good progress and the Headteacher is improving provisions across the whole school which is currently Ofsted rated 'good'
  • A team of staff dedicated to raising standards and supporting children's development

The Role:


  • Fulltime intervention role starting Jan 202
  • Supporting a across Key Stages
  • Lead interventions in Maths and English
  • Hold at minimum a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification or other Level 2 qualification
  • Experience working with primary or secondary aged pupils or other childcare setting
  • Confidence to lead small groups
  • Hold a valid Child Only DBS accessible on the Update Service or be willing to apple for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
