Job Role


I am recruiting for a local authority who is looking for someone to deliver and maintain a caring, empathetic, efficient and welcoming customer service, responding to individual customer needs.

Main Activities

Take responsibility for handling customer enquiries received via telephone, face to face, correspondence, Social Media or e-channels. Responding promptly and flexibly to customers, taking practical actions to help. Use established and documented procedures, referring exceptions to the senior advisor, team leader or other manager for resolution.


Use electronic systems and Excel reports to log, track and update customer records in line with customer requests and service actions.

Maintain and promote excellence in service delivery. Identify customer trends, difficulties and issues. Suggest solutions to these to continually seek to improve the customer experience.


Be responsible for high levels of communication with colleagues and managers to ensure the dissemination of information of relevant issues affecting the team and services.
