The FOH Officer will provide a high quality of security, reception, patrol, emergency first response and external guarding service for the client throughout the GS campus, primarily but not exclusively at Plumtree Court.

The emphasis will be on excellence and quality service delivery and this will be enhanced with an in-depth overall knowledge of building security function.

The Officer will also provide support during major incidents and emergency situations.

Continual training in all operational needs, together with existing building knowledge and experience will ensure a swift response whenever required.

The Role

Ensure the security of infrastructure & safety of personnel throughout campus
Provide immediate response and assistance in the event of any major/minor incident or emergency
Control access and egress to all the reception areas of the campus
First line greeting of all VIPs, guests, visitors and staff at reception
Ensure all visitors to the premises receive the correct information and are suitably directed
Monitor all Front of House activity and report all suspicious incidents to the SCR
To produce clear and accurate reports/statements (verbal and written) as directed
Carrying out specific patrols as directed by the client, such as critical patrols, lockup/unlock patrols, fire, life safety and internal floor patrols
Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and ensure any breaches are reported
Working as part of a team and on your own depending on site requirements

About You

Previous security experience
Previous experience of Front of House service within a corporate environment
To be comfortable dealing with senior client personnel
A valid frontline security door supervision or close protection SIA license
Valid FAAW certificate
Knowledge and experience with security systems and other related tech
Great attention to detail and a consistent approach
A team player with good customer service skills
