Description

Lancaster Medical School is seeking to appoint a part time experienced administrator as Undergraduate Student Welfare and Wellbeing Coordinator to join the professional service team for undergraduate medical student support.

We are looking for a committed and professional individual to work as part of a team to provide professional support to the medical school student support service, including first point of contact, triage, administration of systems and processes alongside advertising and internal marketing of the service.

As Undergraduate Student Welfare and Wellbeing Coordinator you will have a focus on customer service and work, under the supervision of the Student Support Advisor to provide an excellent standard of service to undergraduate medical students during their studies.

You will need to work well as part of the aforementioned team and also independently, in managing day-to-day activities.

A significant aspect of the role will involve working collaboratively across LMS and its partners with academic, clinical and professional colleagues, so excellent communication skills are essential.

Strong interpersonal and listening skills, good time management and excellent administrative skills, including strong IT skills, are also essential in this role, to ensure the high level of service required.

The Faculty provides an environment that strongly supports the individual needs of each employee, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

We are committed to family-friendly and flexible working policies on an individual basis, as well as the Athena SWAN Charter, which recognises and celebrates good employment practice undertaken to address gender equality in higher education and research.

Lancaster Medical School is committed to ensuring our workforce is reflective of our diverse student population and is therefore committed to increasing representation of racially minoritized staff across all roles and at all levels.
