Marketing & PR Manager





SALARY:
Circa £28,000





HOURS:
37.5 Hours per week (flexible)





LOCATION:
LEEDS


The role includes creation and delivery of all marketing material and public relations using all forms of social media and communications, building, and maintaining exceptional customer relationships.


Primary Responsibilities Include:


  • To contribute to and develop a marketing strategy and implementation plan to help increase customer numbers.
  • Brief, check and sign off all the production of marketing materials, including posters, leaflets, flyers and tent cards for internal & external use.
  • Work with the team to produce and design all menus (including special event menus), prior to submitting for printing.
  • Liaise closely with our marketing designers.
  • Writing and proofreading copy.
  • Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials.
  • Liaise with the management team on a daily/weekly basis, providing details of upandcoming events, ensuring all bookings can be correctly planned, staffed and resourced.
  • Maintain and manage our company website content with innovative ideas to drive sales.
  • Create partnerships with local corporate businesses to increase event sales.
  • Attending events/openings to raise our business profile in the city.
  • Handle all queries from magazines, newspapers, and web companies regarding advertising.
  • Ensure advertising guidelines and standards are complied with.
  • Communicate with independent restaurant/bar reviewers when required.
  • Keep a copy of all adverts and press releases.
  • Check trip advisor each day and ensure all negative comments are responded to.
  • Alongside the FOH/Restaurant Manager ensure all complaints are responded to and the appropriate measures taken to ensure the customer returns in the future.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Keeps Managing Director fully informed of all issues and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.
  • Complete job responsibilities and performance objectives in a timely and effective manner in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintains a favourable working relationship with all company employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum staff morale, productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Marketing qualification
  • Diploma level or higher
  • Demonstrate experience within a similar market.
  • High level computer literacy skills
  • Superior written and verbal skills
  • Creativity
