Corporate Tax Manager - Glasgow


Change Recruitment are partnering with a longstanding, large and independent firm with multiple offices across the UK to recruit a Corporate Tax Manager.

The role is ideally based in Glasgow but flexible on location, giving you exposure to clients and dealsacross the UK.

You will also get the chance to develop relationships with counterparts across the globe, given their international client base.

The role is open to
remote working or
hybrid working arrangements.

Salary banding is between £50,000-£70,000 depending on experience, suitability and fit.


Responsibilities

  • Working with their Director team to develop client relationships and identify opportunities
  • Managing a portfolio of large clients, being their primary contact for daytoday tax matters
  • Management of other teams (e.g., compliance) to ensure smooth delivery across all areas of corporate tax to your clients.
  • Varied advisory projects, including but not limited to corporate restructuring, debt / equity reorganisations, corporate interest restriction, overseas and domestic permanent establishments, loss utilisation, etc
  • Leading a team of more junior staff to help them develop and grow
  • Staying current on sector developments and considering how this impacts their clients

Qualifications

  • Practicetrained finance professional, with relevant qualification (e.g., ACA/ACCA/CTA/ATT).
  • Experience of advising large corporate clients on UK and international tax matters.
  • Proven client relationship skills and effective management of internal teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and sustaining relationships over a period
