Description

Our client is a leading industrial manufacturer, who as a result of internal changes require a Project Manager to lead multiple long-term engineering/production projects.

Reporting to the Project Director you will take the lead for overall direction and execution of all new product company projects, ensuring compliance with strategy, goals & objectives.

Specifically, you shall Run projects from sales handover to install/commission, a true "cradle to grave" role.

Lead the planning & implementation of various projects.
Work with all internal departments to scope and define the project.
Work to ensure that the project is delivered on time, on cost, within budget and quality standards
Produce regular project updates, identifying areas of concern and development
Be prepared to travel for the post, though time away is mínimal

It is expected that you will be a degree-qualified engineer and have an engineering background, either mechanical, electrical or chemical, with hands-on project skills.

An ability to read and interpret a CAD drawing is a distinct advantage, as is a backgroundin engineering manufacture. First-class communication skills are a prerequisite, as is staff management and development experience.
