Job Role:
Development Inspector


Location:
Hybrid role, London/South East


Hours:
Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)


Up to £24,000 per annum plus car allowance

As a Property Inspector you will be contributing to Mainstay's vision as the market leading provider of services to the UK's property sector.

Mainstay is a professional services organisation, that delivers business expertise and services across the propertyindustry.
This role reports to the Asset Management Team Leader.


Main Responsibilities:


  • In conjunction with the Team Leader, to plan and assist in coordination to ensure each separate property is visited and inspected in line with a specified template and format, at least once in every three years.
  • During site visits consider potential opportunities for enhanced service provision and customer experience and potential additional income opportunities for the client.
  • In conjunction with the Asset Managers; to review Managing Agent performance ensuring all assets are maintained safely and diligently in line with client Asset Management Policy to the benefit of all stakeholders.
  • To support Asset Management activity on other funds/portfolios as required.

Skills and Experience:


  • At least two years' experience working within Asset/Property Management environment.
  • Hands on delivery of all aspects of Health & Safety legislation in relation to asset management.
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret site land registry title plans.
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Experience of communicating with external and internal customers.

  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Keen to take responsibility and use initiative
  • Customer focused and able to produce work of a consistently high standard
  • Effective communicator, who enjoys contact with internal and external customers

Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordination and undertaking of site visits on the client portfolio
  • Identify additional fund income streams
  • Identify income opportunities for Mainstay through enhanced service provision.
  • Other duties.
