Description

We are seeking a full time, permanent, Band 6 Specialist Speech and Language therapist to work in our school aged service.

We are looking for a self-motivated therapist who is passionate about providing high quality services and excellent health outcomes to children, young people, and their families.

We are seeking someone with a dynamic approach, who can work collaboratively and effectively with others within both the SLT team and the wider multi-disciplinary team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The post holder will support the school aged team within schools across Gwynedd and Anglesey.

The SLT school aged team is committed to evidence-based practice and continuing professional development.

Regular team meetings and regular supervision ensure that a high quality of service is provided, and the post holder will contribute to the development of a service which is constantly seeking to improve.

The population of Gwynedd and Anglesey is naturally bilingual and education services are provided bilingually in Welsh and English. A bilingual Welsh/English speaker is therefore essential for this post.
