CNC Turner - Rotherham

The client has expanded their area of expertise and now specialise in medium to heavy machining for the Aerospace, Mining and Transportation Industries.

CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator

Up to £17 per hour depending on experience on a day shift.
7am until 4pm Mon to Thurs, Fri 7am until 12 (39hrs).
23 days holiday plus stats
Onsite parking

Duties & Responsibilities

Proven experience in CNC Machining of machined products
Set up, operate, and program CNC machines with Fanuc controls to produce highprecision components.
Use your programming skills to enhance machining processes and increase efficiency.
Ability to programme using FANUC
Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
A keen eye for detail and resultsdriven approach
Filling out required paperwork.
Communicating with the rest of the Quality Control (QC) department so they become aware of any defects in the product and how to repair them.
Have a strong presence on within the production areas and carry out in process checks on a routine basis.
Reading engineering schematics and comparing them with the finished product
Be able to work alone as well as in a team.
