Quality Inspector Electronics

Reading
Quality Inspector required for a leading Electronics manufacturing business based near Reading.

You will be responsible for ensuring that finished products are quality checked and tested, and all that relevant documentation is completed before it leaves the site.

Working as an inspector in Quality Control team, monitoring supplier and in house manufactured components.


The company has fast-expanding business that has double in headcount in the past 12 months due to unprecedented orders, resulting in a solid order book for the next 2- 3 years.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inspection experience to IPC-A610
  • Must be prepared to work using inspection magnification equipment
  • Must be able to handsolder fine pitch surface mount components, remove bridges, replace components
  • Maintain and review the inspection records from manufacturing.
  • Creating internal paperwork including certificates of conformity, certificate of manufacture, quality, quantity, warranty, hydrotest and other test certificates as per customer's requirements and product destination.
  • Able to read and understand product drawings.
  • Support with Inspection related activities as required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to demonstrate experience in working in this type of role.
  • Inspection of goods to QA plan.
  • Measurement using digital and nondigital equipment.
  • Completion of concession and reject notes as required.
  • Inspection and documenting of Sample Reports
  • Record items on concession, reject and sample registers.
