Assistant Planner

£22,000 - £25,000pa

Fareham, Hampshire

Our client, a subcontract electronics manufacturer, is looking for an Assistant Planner to join their existing team. This is a great opportunity to join a local company manufacturing electronic components that are used globally in a wide range of industries

As an Assistant Planner, you will be required to carry out various duties such as:

To produce and maintain plans to meet business and customer requirements.
Maintaining Work Order and Sales Order dates IAW agreed schedules.
To manage customer specific supply and demand tools as required.
Advising the business of threats to agreed plans about capacity or availability of resource.
Running and generating Daily/Weekly reports and planning updates to support the Production Plan.
To work with the Purchasing Department to ensure materials arrive on time for Work Order Requirements.
Expedite important issues internally that may impact delivery dates and/or other commitments being met.

The following qualifications and experience are required for this Assistant Planner role:

Previous experience of MRP systems, BOMs and planning methodologies.
Excellent communication skills
Excellent PC skills including MS office, especially Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
Planning and prioritisation skills
A sound understanding of a CEM environment
Knowledge of electronics production techniques

Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:30 and Friday 07:30-12:30.

The annual pay for this role is £22,000 - £25,000pa.
