Hourly Pay Rate:
£9.50 - £10.28
Hours: 37.5 Monday to Friday
Length of the contract: 3 months initially
Grafton Recruitment are now seeking to appoint a Scheduling Administrator for our Public Sector client based in Lincoln.
Duties of the Scheduling Administrator:
- Action any new incoming referrals, checking that the referral letter and other relevant documentation has been attached.
- Monitor existing patient's progress through the system.
- Produce daily reports for secondary care providers.
- Monitor and action any rejected referrals.
- Effectively manage and book appointments and issuing of all relevant information to the patient including confirmation of patient appointment letter and any patient leaflet of the provider/procedure.
- Adhere to all data protection, clinical governance and standard processes to minimize any potential risk to patient and immediately raise any concerns or issues.
- Deliver high levels of customer service.
- Accurately input data into databases and spreadsheets so that up to date and accurate information is available.
- Carry out administrative and clerical duties including photocopying, posting, typing correspondence, progress chasing and other administrative duties as required.
- Contribute to team meetings and work positively with the Team Lead to ensure that performance standards are met and improved where necessary.
- Handle confidential, complex and sensitive patient's clinical information on a daily basis.
Experience Required:
- GCSEs Grade A-C in English and Math or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a customer service environment/dealing with the public especially over the telephone.
- Excellent verbal communication & interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative processes including filing, archiving, photocopying, mailing and distribution processes.
- Effective time management & ability to work to tight deadlines and standards.
- Effective team working and ability to cover for colleagues in their absence.
- Ability to work with staff of all levels in a positive, helpful and constructive manner.
