Attention all SEN Teachers An exciting opportunity has arisen at an SEN School in Surbiton, Kingston upon Thames for a skilled and passionate educator to join our team.

The role starts immediately and will last until the end of the academic year.


This is a paid-to-scale position, offering a competitive salary and the chance to work in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Requirements:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Current DBS on the update service.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of SEN and different learning difficulties.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • A flexible and creative approach to teaching and learning.
  • Good organisational and timemanagement skills.
  • A passion for working with children with SEN and helping them reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:


  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons to pupils with a range of special educational needs.
  • Differentiate and personalise learning to meet the individual needs of each pupil.
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, and use this information to inform future planning.
  • Support pupils in accessing the curriculum, both inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to support the development and wellbeing of pupils.
  • Be responsible for the health, safety, and welfare of pupils under your care.
