Regulatory Specialist

WHAT TO EXPECT DAY TO DAY
We are seeking to appoint a Regulatory Specialist who will be based in
North East England, United Kingdom.

You will be supporting the wider Kelvatek team by analysing commercial regulation to identify synergies between the Kelvatek product & service portfolio and regulated market participant objectives.

This is a demanding role that will require you to significantly research market regulation, funding mechanisms, and regulatory incentives.


WHAT TO EXPECT DAY TO DAY

  • Provide expertise and advice on market regulation to the Business Development team
  • Support the construction of business cases for product & service capabilities
  • Support the Identification of gaps in the market for new or existing products and potential innovation projects.
  • Preparation of information for Tenders and Request for Information
  • Work closely with the product, customer performance and Business Development teams
  • Take the lead for market qualification for certain regulated sectors such as Offshore wind and other UK based regulated markets
  • Support market development and drive initiatives to grow market
  • Understand regulated market dynamics in detail: key customers, industry challenges, market trends
  • Research regulated markets and identify potential target customers
  • Respond to regulatory consultations

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Be a good team player capable of delivering excellent results under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Significant experience of working within UK regulated markets preferably Distribution, Transmission, or the renewable energy market
  • Data analysis skills
  • At least two years' experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience of software and data solutions
