Care Assistants at Herefordshire Care Homes come from all walks of life. Ideally you have NQV level 3 in care or equivalent or are keen to further your career in care.

Being a Care Assistant supports residents to remain as independent as possible respecting their rights to choice, privacy and dignity.

It also means having fun and using your skill to keep people connected to their communities.

What you'll need

Experience of caring for others your belief in teamwork and your ability to use your initiative and imagination, follow instructions and prioritise a busy workload, you're great at keeping records too.

Above all, you have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling and want to work in an environment where the work can be hard, but also fun and rewarding.
