Would you like to be employed by a quality, friendly, family owned business? JMB Travel have been established since 2009 and we operate local services, SPT contracts, school bus contracts, private hire and rail replacement work across Lanarkshire and beyond.

We are currently looking to recruit School Bus Assistants for positions based at our depot in Newmains, Lanarkshire.

Duties & Responsibilities

Support the safe and timeous conveyance of children to school.
Monitoring of behaviour on board school transport.
Ensuring that school children have seat belts fitted and report any issues of noncompliance to the management team.
Completing necessary documentation such as daily work sheets and incident reports.

Requirements:

Enjoy working with people.
Reliable and courteous.
Hold or be able to obtain a PVG Membership for regulated work with children.

Hours

2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon on school days.
4.5 weeks pro rata paid holiday per year (1 week Easter, 2.5 weeks Summer, 1 week Christmas).

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary:
£10.42 per hour
