Description
Indepth Civil Engineering Services Ltd is looking for a part time Accounts & Payroll Administrator at our head office.

We are a family run company based in Aberford, Leeds and we are looking for an ambitious individual to join our team.


Day-to-day duties including:


  • Reconcile invoices to goods received notes and check prices against quotes/agreed price lists
  • Post invoices and credits onto Sage 50 Accounting Software
  • Raise and resolve purchase invoice differences
  • Maintain relationships with individuals within the company and our suppliers
  • Receive and check supplier statements
  • Supplier payment run preparation
  • Preparation and posting of journals
  • Bank payments and reconciliations
  • Meet deadlines
  • Monthly and weekly payroll administration
  • CIS administration and submission of monthly returns
  • Management of our hire equipment log
  • Carrying out other requests from management as needed.

The successful applicant:


  • Qualification/experience in accounting or finance
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts or similar
  • Experience in payroll processing is desirable, but not essential
  • Strong communication, organisational and timekeeping skills
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of accounting for the civil engineering or construction industry is desirable.
The role is part time (hours negotiable)

Expected start date:
January 2023 onwards
