Description
Indepth Civil Engineering Services Ltd is looking for a part time Accounts & Payroll Administrator at our head office.We are a family run company based in Aberford, Leeds and we are looking for an ambitious individual to join our team.
Day-to-day duties including:
- Reconcile invoices to goods received notes and check prices against quotes/agreed price lists
- Post invoices and credits onto Sage 50 Accounting Software
- Raise and resolve purchase invoice differences
- Maintain relationships with individuals within the company and our suppliers
- Receive and check supplier statements
- Supplier payment run preparation
- Preparation and posting of journals
- Bank payments and reconciliations
- Meet deadlines
- Monthly and weekly payroll administration
- CIS administration and submission of monthly returns
- Management of our hire equipment log
- Carrying out other requests from management as needed.
The successful applicant:
- Qualification/experience in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts or similar
- Experience in payroll processing is desirable, but not essential
- Strong communication, organisational and timekeeping skills
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounting for the civil engineering or construction industry is desirable.
Expected start date:
January 2023 onwards
