Are you ready to drive beyond the possible; to work for an industry game-changer in a collaborative culture, with the opportunity to thrive in your career?

Here at Pendragon, we're going through an exciting period of transformation, and we're looking for a Regional SMART Controller to play a key part in shaping our future and help drive our innovation.

As Regional SMART Controller, you'll be managing the successful operation of all our game-changing SMART workshop teams within the

Empowering your team to be the best they can be, you'll exceed expectations, fuelled by the opportunity to thrive in your career along the way.

This is an ideal chance for a collaborative and committed individual to help transform the automotive industry, in an innovative place that recognises drive and commitment.

You'll be set up and supported with the resources, tools and experience you need to be at your best and bring out the best in others, working as one team.

What you'll have the opportunity to be involved with:

  • Managing the workflow of our SMART workshop teams by means of resource movement, and sub-contract control where volume dictates, plus taking care of the rota to ensure coverage for every dealership
  • Facilitating workflow of SMART repairs for internal vehicle preparation purposes with Regional Control
  • Supporting Heads of Business with the recruitment of SMART Repair Technicians, and supporting our Technicians to be the best they can be, communicating regularly and conducting On Track reviews
  • Ensuring that all repairs completed by Technicians meet the agreed standards
  • Becoming an ambassador for Health and Safety, liaising with the Group Health and Safety team and conducting regular site visits to ensure compliance and maintaining Associate training
  • Assisting with stock control, internal audits, paint and consumable stock checks

Do you have what it takes to be a Pendragon Associate? We're looking for someone who is:

  • A collaborative team player, who is open to new ideas, with the desire to develop and grow within their career
  • Driven by passion for our industry and the people who work in it
  • Approachable and supportive, with a peoplefirst mindset and the drive to offer guidance and advice to all members of their team throughout the region
  • Able to lead a team, set the standards and deliver strong results
  • Experienced in working to impeccable standards and maintaining procedure and policy adherence, with great attention to detail when carrying out quality checks
  • Understanding of basic SMART Repair Technicians, their role and responsibilities, with strong technical knowledge and a good understanding of computer systems
Here at Pendragon, together, we're unstoppable.

Collaboration is at the heart of our culture, and it's the power of our Group coming together that unlocks our potential to transform automotive retail.

We thrive in a fast-paced environment where the doors are open, if you have the attitude and drive to walk through them.

We'll empower you with the opportunities to bring out the best in yourself, and in return you'll support and bring out the best in others.
