Who We Are Looking For
A Warehouse Operative who will be responsible for providing safe and efficient logístical and warehouse services to the functions of receipt, despatch, handling, storage and disposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all equipment and materials handled are tagged and identified, as necessary, and stored/handled in a safe and efficient manner in order to comply with the KCA Deutag Worldwide Standards.
- Operate all machinery/equipment and use all tools in a safe and proper manner, reporting any deficits or maintenance/repair requirements, to the Yard Foremen, in order to ensure that all equipment is fit for purpose and available for use.
- Pack or unpack cargo container units, supplier delivers and other consignments, check materials, mark, tag or label appropriately. Distribute to relevant areas in order to ensure that the next function involved in the supply chain is aware of the presence of the materials for action. Generate picklists in SAP for all outbound materials and carry out goods receipt in SAP in order to ensure the accurate flow of materials to destinations.
- Ensure that the logistics working environment is clean and tidy in order that high standards of housekeeping and safety awareness are maintained at all times.
- Comply with all relevant HSE
- Participate in the warehouse rolling inventory activities, as required, in order to ensure stock accuracy and minimise operational downtime.
- Assist in general departmental or Company requirements, as and when required, and agreed with the Materials Coordinators in order to ensure the efficient flow of equipment/materials through the department.
- Participate in the weekly on call rotation, which will include Friday afternoon and Saturday mornings working in the warehouse.

Key Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is preferable.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office package.
- Forklift experience and certification would be advantageous.
- Banksman slinging experience and certification would be advantageous.
- Previous use of SAP would be advantageous.
- Driving licence is preferred.

- Ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment.
