Job Description:


We are looking for someone with a kind, compassionate heart who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for a client in Barnet.

As a care assistant, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home and active in the community.

Our client needs weekly companionship visits for 4-6 hours each time.


You will ideally have experience in dementia care although the are no particular qualifications required as we will provide full training and ongoing support.

It may also be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people.

You will be able to build relationships by being friendly, reliable, trustworthy and respectful.


Daily tasks can range from:

  • Planning and carrying out engaging activities
  • Meal preparation and light house work
  • Taking your client to events and appointments
  • Companionship and going for walks
  • Encourage personal care routines

Additional Information

Visit times: 4-6 hours visits take place between 9am - 4pm Mondays to Fridays

Hourly Pay:
£ £ with double pay on all bank holidays worked
>
Paid holidays
>
Paid mileage: 35p per mile or 45p per mile if taking clients out

including support for you to achieve your Care Certificate & NVQ Level 2
