New Forest Care are a specialist childcare and education provider. The young people we work with present with various specific educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, and MLD. A therapeutic approach and putting our children first are integral to what we do.


Full-Time - Permanent. (Term Time Only)

Salary:

£23,000 - £25,000****What will we expect of you?
In fulfilling the requirements of the post, the instructor will demonstrate essential professional characteristics and, in particular, will:

  • Support the aims and ethos of New Forest Care.
  • Plan and deliver sessions in line with the company's aims.
  • Set a good example in terms of dress, punctuality and attendance.
  • Promote the welfare of children and support your colleagues in safeguarding children through relevant policies and procedures.
  • Inspire trust and confidence in students and colleagues.
  • Maintain good order and discipline among the students by being proactive regarding matters of Health and Safety.
  • Organise and manage groups or individual students, ensuring adaption to different learning needs.
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking to improve student's quality of learning and promote the learning priorities of the children.
  • Use the performance management process to advance student learning and enhance professional practice in line with New Forest Care's aspirations and priorities.
  • To be able to evidence student progress and outcomes through qualifications.

Requirements:


One or more of the following:

  • Tutor Award or Trauma & MH Practitioner Award (L4 or above) or be prepared to work towards one.
  • Construction Award or significant experience
  • Animal Care Award
  • Forest School Award
  • Climbing Walls Award
  • Mountain Bike Leader Level
  • Watersports Leadership Award


Successful applicants will need to have a full driving licence, access to a suitable vehicle and be willing to drive each day, as collecting students and working remotely is a key part of your day.
