Business Capability

    Position SummaryRole and Responsibilities*
  • Liaising within the enterprise and Business Units in the UK and overseas, primarily the US, as required, and between the company and the governmental security officials.
  • Ensuring deployed staff are briefed and prepared in accordance with mandated security policies.
  • Advising management on the interpretation and implementation of contractual and, where appropriate, legislative security controls including those detailed in JSP 440 and project specific Security Aspects Letters.
  • Preparing and implementing the mandated Company Security Instructions, Risk Management and Accreditation Document Set for ICT security and the Security Operating Procedures.
  • Being readily available for consultation and to give security advice to management and employees.
  • Coordinating the planning of appropriate security controls for contracts or for the alteration of buildings where classified assets are to be handled, stored or produced.
  • Arranging the appropriate security education and awareness training for all employees.
  • Ensuring the company passes relevant accreditation inspections.

Skills and Experience

  • UK Security Clearance
  • Knowledge of MOD security standards
  • Knowledge of ITAR environment
  • Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
  • Experience of working in a complex group environment.
