At CVS we are one of the largest integrated veterinary groups in Europe with a turnover in excess of £500M, more than 8000 employees and 500 veterinary practice sites across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands and Australia.
Alongside veterinary practices, we also operate pet crematoria, laboratories, a distribution centre, an online business and buying groups.
Due to an increase of successful acquisitions, we currently have an exciting opportunity available for a HR Administrator join join our friendly and supportive HR team
on a permanent basis.
Key duties include:
- To provide a high level administration service and efficient support to all stakeholders across the business
- Assist in Management of HR inbox and telephone calls, answering a range of HR related queries escalating more complex issues to specialist team, leads and HR Business Partners
- Maintain the HR Information System and employee database (Zellis ResourceLink)
- Adhere to and provide guidance on company policies and procedures to managers and colleagues
- Produce HR documentation in line with internal timeframes and deadlines to include:
- New Starter Process -create offer letters and contracts of Employment and issue documentation in line
- Contract Amendments create a range of paperwork and make system updates
- Family friendly Process create and send letters to employees
- Maintain Employee files, both paper and electronic accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist in adhoc HR projects
- Ensure appropriate security for all HR related information, in line with GDPR legislation
- Remain compliant with internal procedures including Health & Safety, environmental policy etc.
Key requirements include:
- Works with high attention to detail and accuracy with good numerical skills
- Ability to organise and manage time effectively, realising the importance of and prioritising own workload to meet deadlines
- A professional manner with a strong work ethic
- Proactive and efficient
- Conscientious with an ability to be flexible and multitask
- Shows initiative and is able to work both independently and as part of a wider team
- Great customer service delivery at all levels
- Must be competent in the use of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
No prior HR experience required as full training will be provided.
