IM&T Practitioner - (Business Analysis)


Location:

Salary:
From £43,373 depending on skills and experience


What you'll be doing:


  • Formally define the scope and highlevel requirements for project deliverables in an Agile environment
  • You will be coaching, mentoring and ensuring that Business Analysis is applied by third parties to project deliverables
  • Dealing with issues, managing resolutions, corrective actions, lessons learned and the collection and dissemination of relevant information
  • Utilising methods, tools, techniques; selecting appropriately from plandriven/predictive approaches or more adaptive (iterative and agile) approaches
  • You will be responsible for investigating operational requirements, problems, and opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automated and nonautomated components of new or changed processes
  • Specifying requirements for environment, data, resources and tools, reviewing and testing results and modifying tests as necessary

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

  • You will be required to have a Degree/Diploma in Business Analysis or hold relatable equivalent experience
  • A good business acumen will be essential for the role and with this strong stakeholder management experience and willingness
  • An understanding and experience of delivering IT projects via the ITIL framework
  • You will need to have Strong team working skills
Desirable

  • Experience of working within a manufacturing and/or defence industry
  • Experience of using Sharepoint

The Digital Workplace Architecture Team
The Digital Workplace and Infrastructure Services team is one of four Product Groups within the IM&T function.

Being a part of the team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior members across the business and IT Suppliers to understand how the business wishes to consume IT services and use them to optimise the delivery of the BAE Systems submarine programme.
