Head of Group Accounting and Corporate Finance

£90,000 - £100,000 + bonus

London, hybrid

A Pan-European Property Consultancy are seeking a qualified accountant to head up the corporate and group accounting aspects of the business.

The role reports directly into the Finance Director, as well as managing several direct reports within the team, ensuring the level of accounting produced is delivered efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of full group reports and the balance sheet, ensuring these are delivered in time and accurately
Manage the production of statutory reports and financial statements for the investment clients
Working with external service providers, including auditors regarding year end
Ensure all capital and reporting packs are producing under correct accounting standards, particularly IFRS and FRS, as well as being a key point of contact for all queries
Supporting the M&A, corporate finance and hedging teams
Responsible for cashflow management and cashflow forecasts, as well as helping out for any property development projects on commercial aspects
Liaising with external provides on any relevant adhoc responsibilities, and any tax responsibilities

Key Requirements

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification, or equivalent
Very strong technical skills, understanding of Excel is essential, as well as any other reporting systems is extremely advantageous
Good communication skills, with a direct approach to all situations
Experience building relationships with internal or external stakeholders
Technically strong, very analytically focused when examining data
