Registered Care Manager - Live In Care

Battersea, London

£40,000 - £50,000


Blakely Scott are working alongside an organisation who provide modern, high quality Live In Care services for elderly people nationwide.


This organisation is committed to offering indivualised care packages that empower people to stay in their own homes whilst still receiving the best care possible in their later years.


In an exciting time of growth, we are supporting them in their search for a Registered Care Manager to oversee the day to day operations of the care service.


The Role:


  • Manage the day to day operations of the Care Services delivered by the organisation
  • Drive quality and improvements where needed
  • Conduct new client assessments and create care plans for individuals
  • Ensure the service is running in line with CQC regulations
  • Assist with training new carers whilst providing guidance and mentorship to the existing team
  • Support the CEO and COO in growth and development of the organisation

Essential:


  • The new Registered Care Manager must have a passion for quality home care for elderly clients
  • Previous management of a homecare or domiciliary care branch is essential
  • A willingness to hold the registration with CQC
  • Hold a full, valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
  • Understanding of Local Authority and Clinical Commissioning Group contracts
  • QFC level 5 in leadership and management/Registered Managers Award or equivalent (or currently working towards it).

Location
This role will include 2 days in the office in Battersea. Commutable locations include Clapham, South Lambeth, Tooting, Streatham Hill, Putney Heath, Earlsfield, Camberwell, Stockwell, Vauxhall and surrounding areas.
