Teaching Assistant (ASD/SEMH)

Preston, Pupil Referral School

£76.89 -£86.89 per day

Starting September July 2024

Tradewind are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in a Pupil Referral School within Preston. The school specialised in educating students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.


Duties will include:

  • Assisting teachers in the classroom and providing support to individual students
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Adapting teaching approach to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Working with students with ASD and SEMH needs
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff to develop and implement individualised education plans

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students with ASD and SEMH needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching approach to meet the unique needs of each student
  • A passion for working with and helping students with special needs
This is a full-time position, paying £76.89-£86.89 per day.
