Purpose of role:


The overall responsibility of the Year 3 lead is to ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum for year 3 in line with the requirements of the programme specification and of the GMC as our external regulator.


You will be expected to be a practicing clinical in the NHS with a primary medical qualification on the GMC specialist or general practice register.

With an understanding of medical education theory and a postgraduate qualification in Medical Education (PGCert, Diploma or MSC), you will also have evidence of leadership qualities with a track record of involvement in undergraduate or postgraduate medical education.
