Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Exams Officer. As an Exams Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating and administering exams in an educational setting. This is a vital role that ensures the smooth running of exams and supports the academic success of students.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule exams, ensuring adherence to exam timetables and regulations
- Prepare exam materials, including question papers, answer booklets, and other necessary documents
- Set up exam rooms, ensuring they are arranged appropriately and equipped with necessary supplies
- Supervise exams to maintain a secure and controlled environment
- Monitor students during exams to ensure compliance with exam rules and regulations
- Collect completed exam papers and ensure they are securely stored
- Assist with the distribution of exam results to students
- Maintain accurate records of exam data, including student information, grades, and any special accommodations
- Collaborate with teachers, faculty, and other staff members to address any issues or concerns related to exams
Experience:
- Previous experience working in an educational or academic setting is preferred
- Familiarity with exam administration processes and procedures is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor's degree in education or a related field is preferred.
