WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land (RBSL) have got an exciting new opportunity for a HR Advisor to join our HR team based in Telford.


Overview - Position Purpose


To provide administration and advisory support to the HR function and wider business that ensures an effective and efficient service delivery is provided to internal and external customers.


Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports HRBP's and senior people managers in planning and implementing the People Plan within a business or business unit.
  • Investigates and resolves complex generalist queries requiring business knowledge and facetoface handling.
  • Provides independent HR support for employee relations cases and supports HRBP's with more complex case management.
  • Coordinates, delivers and supports new starter inductions
  • Analyses business related people data to identify potential implications within the business context and environment to initiate local actions to resolve these as appropriate.
  • Manages and leads small HR projects and contributes, providing support for larger projects as required.
  • Uses an understanding of the business and relationship management skills to influence, facilitate and implement change.
  • Analysis of robust management information to identify trends and process improvements and inform overall HR effectiveness/efficiency improvement areas
  • Supporting People Manager training by providing HR advice and answering Manager queries.
  • Conducting exit interviews and analysis of exit data
  • Regular reporting from Success Factors as appropriate for the wider HR team
  • Produce monthly infographic for HRD
  • Monitor and improve the HR intranet experience for employees
  • Create, store and maintain employee files on SharePoint
  • Manage and maintain the SharePoint sites for RBSL HR, in liaison with IM&T where necessary
  • Support to the HRBPs in developing and embedding the employee and manager selfservice philosophy
  • Monitor data integrity in Success Factors, and provide insights and support with bulk upload changes
  • Ensure data is processed and managed in line with GDPR legislation and internal policies
  • Support with the creation and maintenance of the people BMS documents
  • Produce purchase orders for timely payments to suppliers
  • Manage the HR shared mailbox and respond to queries in a timely manner
  • Liaise with managers and employees as appropriate to support in answering their queries
  • Producing letters and correspondence to employees and appropriate filing of the correspondence in line with GDPR
  • Maintain RBSL Org charts on a bimonthly basis
  • Support attendance at interviews as required
  • Proactive approach to continuous improvement activities within the HR function and wider business
  • Support to the HRBP's and the wider administration team as appropriate e.g. Recruitment, Early Careers, HR administration
  • Act as the main point of HR contact for and administer the Missing Time process
  • Support with SAP reporting and conducting necessary actions through the HR transactions
  • Provide support to the RBSL Payroll Manager on a monthly basis with HR data queries and administration

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (desirable)
  • Excellent Communication Skills [Verbal and Written]
  • Able to build and maintain excellent relationships with key contacts (internal and external)
  • Excellent team player
  • Must be able to use MS Office [Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook]
  • Ability to Multitask and work without supervision
  • Discreet and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Equivalent experience in business administration and/or HR administration
  • Exceptional organisational and planning ability with excellent attention to detail/data accuracy
  • Strong administration skills
  • Enjoys working across multidisciplinary teams
  • Awareness of employment legislation
  • Good knowledge of HR policies and procedures
  • Have a proactive approach to solving problems and in developing solutions
  • Training, mentoring and coaching less experienced members of the team
