Empowering Learning are currently looking for a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to work within a school based in Swanley.

We are looking for an outstanding and experienced Learning Support Assistants, who are dedicated to supporting children with variousspecial needs on a 1:1 basis.

Our school support children with various learning abilities, such as challenging behaviour, SLD and MLD so experience of working with a range of special needs would be desirable.

We would be looking for a dynamic Learning SupportAssistant who can work across various age groups within secoundry school age.


Responsibilities:


  • Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis
  • Supervising children in & out of the classroom
  • Encourage and support the pupils learning
  • Helping the teacher prepare for lessons and plan activities

Job Requirements

  • Experience of working as a Learning Support Assistant/Classroom Assistant
  • Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Available 35 days a week and able to commit
