Job Description:

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Finance Officer to work for a well established company based in Crawley, West Sussex.

The Finance Officer will be working as part of a small Finance team.

This is a varied all round Accounts Assistant role, dealingwith all aspects of accounts such as; Purchase and Sales Ledger, Credit Control, preparing invoices, statements, reconciliations, payroll, VAT returns etc.

Salary:
£30K

Location:
Office based, Crawley

Hours:
Monday Friday 8-5

Finance Assistant duties include:

Processing sales and purchase ledgers
Reconciliations
Processing bank payments
Pricing checks across invoicing systems
Credit Control
Processing of supplier payments
Payroll processing, handling any payroll queries, overtime and staff expenses
Monitoring and managing petty cash
Support with weekly / monthly finance reports
Setting up and processing new Customer / Supplier accounts

Skills and experience required:

Experience of working in a similar Finance / Accounts Assistant type role and ideally be AAT Qualified
Sage 50 & SAGE Payroll experience
Good IT skills and advanced MS Excel
