This successful and growing business already has a turnover of £6 million and is comprised of 3 companies across the UK and Ireland.

They are looking for a full time Bookkeeper to join the team as soon as possible to cover maternity leave.


They are suppliers of specialist equipment, which is manufactured in Germany and sold throughout the UK, to a lucrative and growing market.


Currently they employ circa 30 people, of which around 15 people are based in the Head Office in Sheffield, and they are a friendly and welcoming team.


The role is interesting and varied and includes; using Quickbooks to manage the Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Bank reconciliations, Credit Card reconciliations, Payroll administration and general admin tasks to assist with the day to day running of the company.

So, you will have a good range of exposure.

The purchase ledger volumes are higher, and it is the full accounts payable process including payment.

Skills and experience:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic and personable
  • To be confident and proactive with a good telephone manner
  • Experience of Quickbooks
  • Relevant experience is a must
