We are looking for an Office Manager to organise and supervise administrative systems within Harris Academy Beckenham.

Main Areas of Responsibility

The purpose of your role will be:

  • To organise and supervise administrative systems within the Academy
  • To contribute to the planning, development and monitoring of support services and/or management of admin support staff, including the coordination and delegation of relevant activities
  • To ensure the accurate maintenance and management of pupil and school data Assist in the provision of an efficient and effective school administrative function
  • To provide support to Principal by ensuring that all necessary information is up to date and that requests are followed up in a timely fashion
  • To be responsible for the maintenance of the pupil database with a particular focus on roll, attendance and assessment


The position will include responsibilities related to organisation, administration, marketing, resources, administration and reception management, pupil data, staff cover and line management of reception staff.

Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Several years' experience working in an office environment at senior level.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience of using Bromcom or other MIS
  • Experience of working with the general public.
  • Experience of using, maintaining and developing administrative systems.
