Our team of Neighbourhood Services Coordinators plays a crucial role in advocating for tenants and leaseholders living in council owned and managed properties.

The Role:


Working alongside the Procurement Team, you will have the responsibility for the provision of comprehensive administrative support and will act as a first point of contact for the team.


The main activities will include:

  • Supporting the Procurement Team by collating, coordinating and producing management information, performance reports and other returns such as contract register information, reconciliation of contractor spend data with the contract register, Section 84 returns, contract award outcome letters etc.
  • Monitoring and supporting delivery of procurement activity to appoint suitably qualified service and works providers who meet the needs of the Directorate compliantly and effectively.
  • Undertaking and supporting delivery of core procurement processes to ensure compliant working practices in line with the Council's Procurement Regulations, Procurement Strategy, and the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (PCR).
  • Working closely and supporting the Procurement Managers and Senior Procurement Officers to ensure up to date and accurate ongoing records and updates are retained across all Housing Management Procurement activity.

About You:


Are you someone interested in Procurement looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic team? Or maybe you're studying for a CIPS qualification and looking to put what you've learned into practice.

Then this is the role for you

Having experience in administration and a desire to learn and grow in the field of Procurement is a must.

You'll need to possess excellent communication skills as well as a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
