£25, £28,929.00 Per Annum, Pro Rata.


College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences / School of Health in Social Science.

Open Ended Contract - Permanent; Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week.


We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive administrator with excellent team working, problem solving, digital and interpersonal skills, to support students and our expanded Student Support Team.


The Opportunity:


The School of Health in Social Science is looking for an administrator to provide a high standard of support to our newly structured Student Support Team.

You will work closely with the team and other professional service and academic colleagues.

You will act as the first point of contact for student and staff enquiries, be involved in student community building events and skills development opportunities, and provide administrative support for key student lifecycle processes.

Please note, this role may require working outwith normal business hours.


Your skills and attributes for success:Experience of working within a team but also using initiative and judgement to make day-to-day decisions independently.

  • Approachable and able to communicate effectively.
  • Experience of delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Experience of problem solving and flexibility within a fast changing environment.
  • Experience of delivering tasks with a high level of accuracy.
  • A confident user of IT (Word, Excel, Sharepoint).
