Do you have a degree in Physical Education or Sports?

Or are you a sports coach looking for more work?

Do you coach children after school or on weekends and looking for some flexible work close to home?

Tradewind is looking for engaging, warm, and personable people who are able to cover PE and other lessons in Cheshire West & Chester Secondary Schools.

We work with schools across the borough and have a consistent need for qualified and unqualified teachers to cover PE and other general lessons

As an agency, we can offer both part-time and full-time work that fits around your schedule, alongside day-to-day work. Whatever suits your availability, needs, and skills - please get in touch as we will have something for you

As a sports specialist your responsibilities will include**:

Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
Sole responsibility for teaching and learning
Delivering preplanned lessons
Using provided resources to encourage learning
Managing the behaviour within the classroom or sports hall or drama studio
Developing independent study skills and peer learning
Pastoral and learning support
Managing handover back to the teacher

The Essentials:

Experience supporting children / young adults on either a paid or voluntary basis
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
Be able to provide a minimum of 2 professional references
Legal right to work in the UK
